GLOBAL STEM CELLS GROUP AND WESTMINSTER UNIVERSITY IN KOREA AWARD CERTIFICATES TO REGENERATIVE MEDICINE STUDENTS
Korea – Global Stem Cells Group, an international network comprised of physicians, doctors, researchers, students, and educators all passionate about researching, discovering, and sharing new information with regards to the stem cell industry and regenerative medicinal capabilities today, this last week, at the completion of their regenerative stem cell science program in Korea, teamed up with the Westminster University in Korea to award students with course completion certificates.
Distributed to the students who completed the comprehensive Stem Cells Fellowship program with a thorough understanding of regenerative medicine in our world today, the certificates were given out during a completion ceremony in which the president of the Global Stem Cells Group, Benito Novas, and the president of the Westminster Graduate University, Ph.D. Paul In Chan Chung, were in attendance.
Dr. Paul In Chan Chung personally handed each student his or her certificate.
“This was a monumental recognition ceremony for students who have gone above and beyond with regards our regenerative medicine lab-setting course,” said Novas. “We need more people to be committed to furthering the effects of stem cell medicine, and this batch of students is well on their way to contributing to the future of the industry.”
Global Stem Cells Group is the only regenerative medicine training business to have a University endorsement for teaching and practicing regenerative medicine with students. After the incredible success of the past course, Dr. Paul In Chan Chun announced they will continue to offer this kind of Fellowship Program for students at the university next summer. The university, in conjunction with the Global Stem Cells Group, will be announced the official date shortly.
“We are honored to be offering such cutting edge education for our students here at the Westminster University in Korea,” said Dr. Paul In Chan Chun. “Global Stem Cells Group is a full-service educational institution that provides expert training, onsite monitoring, and education-related resources to facilities across the world. After the success of this past Fellowship, it was a no-brainer to discuss offering it again sometime next summer.”
Students in the course learned about cell culture, plating, trypsinization, harvesting, and cryopreservation. They applied quality control tests that included cell count, viability, flow cytometry, endotoxin, mycoplasma, and sterility.
Global Stem Cell Group and its subsidiary institutions are adept in stem cell research, patient applications, and student education. Through their off-branch entities, they are able to influence every aspect of the regenerative medicine industry today.
