Global Stem Cells Group and its subsidiary Stem Cell Training, Inc. have announced plans to conduct Brazil’s first ever stem cell harvesting and reintegration course Oct. 24 and 25, 2015. Through his alliance with Stem Cell Training, Inc. cardio-vascular surgeon Jorge Gioscia Filho, M.D. will conduct the Adipose and Bone Marrow Stem Cell Training Course for medical professionals in his home town of Poro Alegre.
In addition to his work in vascular and endovascular surgery, Filho has specialized in medical genital aesthetics in his private practice for more than 10 years. He is a member and professor at the Postgraduate Course in Aesthetic Medicine of IAAM-ASIME. Member of the International Society for Sexual Medicine and Vice President of the Southern Region of the Brazilian Society for Sexual Medicine, a member of the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery, and a member of the International Society for Endovascular Specialists.
The Adipose and Bone Marrow Stem Cell Training Course was developed for physicians and high-level practitioners to learn the process through an intensive, hands-on training session to arm participating physicians with clinical protocols and state-of-the-art techniques for isolating and re-integrating adipose- and bone marrow-derived stem cells.
The objective of the training is to bridge the gap between bench science in the laboratory and the doctor’s office by teaching effective, in-office regenerative medicine techniques.
